KALMATECHNOLOGIESPartner with Kalma Built from Africa for the global Church.
Kalma is building an Africa-first Christian digital ecosystem that brings Scripture, artificial intelligence, discipleship, learning, community, and ministry technology into one trusted platform—built from Africa for the global Church.
Kalma is a technology company building an Africa-first Christian digital ecosystem: Scripture, artificial intelligence, discipleship, learning, community, and ministry technology within one connected platform.
Designed for believers and families, pastors and churches, ministries and Christian institutions. Built with the ambition to serve the global Church.
We are in development. The ecosystem described below is our direction, not a catalogue of launched products.
Kalma means “the Word” in the Hausa language, and for us, it points to the Word of God.
Kalma brings together Scripture and technology to help Christians know God’s Word, grow in faith, and live it out every day.
Built from Africa. Designed for the global Church.
To see a flourishing, digitally equipped Church across Africa that can access trusted Christian knowledge, discipleship, community, and ministry tools in the languages and contexts people live in every day.
Our long-term vision is to become a leading Christian digital ecosystem built from Africa for the global Church—shared infrastructure for Christian life, learning, communication, and collaboration, extending far beyond a single app or AI tool.
Kalma builds trusted, accessible, culturally relevant technology that helps Christians, churches, ministries, and Christian organizations grow in Scripture, discipleship, community, leadership, and mission.
Study and research assistance developed with clear limits and theological responsibility.
Resources envisioned for everyday formation, Christian education, and leadership development.
African-language access shaped with native speakers and trusted local reviewers.
Practical technology planned for communication, coordination, and pastoral work.
Spaces envisioned for mentoring, fellowship, and shared ministry across organizations.
Experiences designed around the needs of pastors, leaders, ministries, and everyday believers.
We begin with Africa and design for global usefulness. Technology serves the Church’s mission; it does not replace Scripture, pastors, local churches, or spiritual leadership.
The opportunity is not simply to put Christian content online. It is to build the tools, language access, and connections that Christian life increasingly needs.
Africa is a major center of Christian growth. Yet many digital tools used by its churches are designed outside African ministry contexts. Kalma aims to close that gap by building with the people these tools should serve.
General-purpose platforms were not built for Christian formation. Kalma is being designed around Scripture, discipleship, pastoral work, community, and mission—so faith shapes the product, not just the content placed inside it.
People should be able to study Scripture and use ministry resources in languages close to their hearts and communities. Multilingual access requires native speakers, contextual understanding, and careful review—not translation alone.
AI is reshaping how people learn, search, and communicate. Kalma’s development priorities include biblical integrity, theological review, cultural relevance, and human flourishing. AI can be wrong; it must support thoughtful study, never claim spiritual authority.
African technologists, theologians, pastors, creatives, and churches can contribute directly to global Christian technology. Kalma invites that expertise into product development, local-language resources, and responsible innovation.
Learning, church life, and ministry collaboration belong together. Our long-term aim is a connected environment where a Bible study can lead to a discipleship course, a small-group conversation, and a shared ministry initiative.
Africa should not only consume the next generation of Christian technology.
It should help build it.
Six connected product families. One long-term vision for believers, churches, educational institutions, and mission organizations. Each product is in development or on our roadmap.
Explore Scripture, prepare lessons, and deepen understanding with a planned focus on biblical research, source transparency, and clear boundaries. Human theological review is central to our roadmap.
A welcoming space for Bible engagement, reading plans, study, and reflection—with multilingual accessibility on the development roadmap.
Simple tools envisioned for member communication, small groups, church operations, and ministry coordination, designed for varied church sizes.
A future home for trusted Christian courses, indigenous theological voices, leadership training, and education across borders.
Purposeful spaces for encouragement, mentorship, learning communities, and meaningful connections between believers.
Planned tools for mission collaboration, discipleship, and ministry resource-sharing, designed with care for sensitive communities.
Beyond these product families, we may explore Christian media, giving and generosity, and a marketplace for relevant services. These are future possibilities, subject to research, partnerships, and responsible development—not services available today.
Kalma is being designed to make Scripture, discipleship, and Christian digital tools accessible across the languages Christians use every day.
We are beginning with strategic African and global languages and expanding carefully with native speakers, theologians, translators, and trusted partners.

“Will the African Church simply adapt to the technological future, or will we help create it?”
We have chosen to help build it.
We’re inviting churches, ministries, theologians, Christian institutions, technology companies, and strategic partners to help shape an Africa-first Christian digital ecosystem.
Churches bring ministry experience. Theologians bring careful scholarship. Developers bring technical expertise. Foundations and investors bring patient support. Together, we can shape technology that begins with African realities and serves believers far beyond them.
